My best friend of 20 years and I recently visited Budapest for a few nights and booked a custom shooting package with Celeritas beforehand. The sheer range of firearms available was mouth-watering, and as history buffs, we especially appreciated the selection of World War II weapons we could choose from. We are both relatively experienced shooters, so we had an idea of what to expect. However, our expectations were completely blown out of the water. Upon arriving, we descended through a series of hallways into the underground range. Along the way, we were greeted by a number of "This Way" signs with smiley faces that went from unhappy to happy the closer we got to the range—much like our own faces! There were also several decommissioned firearms displayed on the walls, which made for some interesting viewing before we even reached the range. When we entered the waiting area, we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, who talked us through the usual terms and conditions before providing our safety glasses and ear defenders. Had an absolutely incredible day shooting over 20 different firearms, ranging from .22 pistols to .50 BMG anti-materiel rifles. From classics like the M1911 and Desert Eagle, to MK12, AK47, HK416, QBZ-97, and rare historical pieces like the FG42 and Mosin-Nagant. Also got to try modern SMGs like the P90, Uzi, MP5, UMP45, SCAR-L, and VSS. Truly a dream come true for any firearms enthusiast. Highly recommend Celeritas Shooting Club in Budapest. It’s probably one of the most diverse shooting ranges in the world, with over 260 firearms available — basically a living museum of WWII and Cold War weapons. The instructors, including a former French Foreign Legion member, are extremely professional, patient, and friendly.

Celeritas has a fantastic selection of weapons. Professional instructors and a nice experience. I would have wanted to switch place every three/four weapons. It was too fast paced and exhausting shooting 10 guns in a row without a break.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had! We booked a custom gun package and had all our favorite weapons ready. Unfortunately we had to reschedule because our flight was cancelled but the shooting club handled it with no issues at all. When we arrived we were early and could start right away. The staff were very friendly and everything felt safe while still being a lot of fun which is the perfect combination. We had plenty of time to try everything and they were super accommodating when it came to taking videos and photos. Really great people we had such a great time. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Awesome shooting range with a good website to navigate and easily book the selection of guns you are interested in. Nice range staff. Get a cab here though, the area isn't the best. I caught a bus here and can't reccomend that. Caught an Uber back into town.
