The food was very good and my daughter and friends thoroughly enjoyed our meal. However, there were a couple of issues when it came to the bill. First, we were charged for five waters even though there were only four of us. This wasn't a major issue, but it was a little confusing. More importantly, a 10% service charge had already been added automatically to the bill. When my daughter went to pay, the waiter pointed to the card machine and asked whether she would like to add a further 10% tip. The girls were happy to do so, but they didn't realise that the service charge had already been included. That was their oversight, not the restaurant's. However, I feel it would have been more transparent to point out that the bill already included a 10% service charge before asking for an additional tip. As a result, they ended up paying more than 4,000 HUF (around €10) in service charges and tips combined. What makes this particularly disappointing is that my daughter and friends are staying in a holiday apartment directly opposite the restaurant and had planned to return several times during their stay. The breakfast here was very underwhelming especially for the price. The eggs were ok, they weren’t bad but also not great. Also no bread was served with them, when I requested some bread i was given plain Toast bread to go with them. The place is looks very nice and the lemonade was good.

Not good, not terrible. The menu is simple. We sat and order drinks, when we were expected to order food it appeared that those exact meals that we have chosen are not available. We have ordered the tomato soup - it was tasty, mushroom stew - fair taste similar to the tomato soup, first they brought us something else with mushrooms, we returned it, then they brought the exact order, the pasta that we ordered we didn't get. The traditional Hungarian Menu consists of few meals, for half of them potato noodles is the main ingredient. The best part was the life piano music and the nice musician who let our kids to have some fun.

The place is charming, and the food is delicious and fresh. The coffee is great, and the presentation of the dishes is excellent. But the most important part is the service — truly outstanding! Our waiter was incredibly attentive and helpful. Overall, a lovely experience. Highly recommended. 🥐☕️
