"I wanted to buy coffee from the coffee machine in the 'Spar to Go' section of this store. When I asked the staff member working there how to get the coffee and whether I needed to pay beforehand, they started yelling at me with aggressive and rude insults. They then threw the POS/card terminal right in front of me. I request a thorough investigation into this matter."

Without exaggerating, this is one of the worst grocery stores I have experienced. The area for fruits and vegetables is tiny and offers very limited amount of varieties and most of it is in poor condition. All the potatoes look old and nasty , there were 2 watermelons available and both of them were rotten. The fresh meat isn't any better , there is more space reserved for steaks that cost from 15.000-20.000 which nobody is buying by the way, than there is for pork and chicken and for that you get maybe 2 different choices of each. The alcohol and drink area takes almost half of the entire space in the store and everything is ridiculously overpriced. It takes me 1 minute to walk to this store from my home , but I will from now on go to Aldi or Prima Wich takes about 15 minute to walk one way rather than come back to this sorry excuse of a grocery store. And don't even get me started on the tobacco store Wich is by the entrance , just take a look at the reviews that place gets , it's all true.

Scammers! The lady with gray hair and gloves saw that we are turist and charges us for something more expensive in pastries, insted of hotdog pastries she put something 3x more expensive (strawberry cake) and 4 times at that, 2000 forints scam, I dont believe in "mistakes" when we didnt even have 4 of a kind item,

They employ some unbelievably rude staff. However, the young people working there are usually helpful and polite.

Scammers and incopetents! I live in Budapest since one year ago and I've never had imagine , after living in many countries that going to supermarkets would make me sad and angry. Specially in this one, that is the closest to my house. I don't know how many times I had to ask for someone in charge because prices on display say one thing and when you pay it's more. It happens too often, and they don't want to charge me the price it says at the store, so I end up waiting for someone im higher position to enlighten me. In the meantime, they laugh at me and talk in hungarian as if I wouldn't notice they are making fun of me. One employee even answered me once, to the question I asked, " How is it possible that every time I come here, something happens?" And he says that " spar hates you. " I mean...that's totally unprofessional. And of course, I have to use a translator to communicate because no one speaks any other language. ( I offered them 4 different ones to comunicate) Anyways, this is not only in this supermarket, this is a general tendency apparently in this country. So the oscar goes to this one here at the moment.
