Some staff members at the self-pay make it less likable. I can understand it's frustrating that a foreigner like me is confused about checking out a bakery or fruits properly. But it doesn't give you the right to angrily toss around the products I was about to buy. Isn't it their job to assist? I go there from time to time. But now I have a bad association. Other than that products are pretty fine.

Super unpleasant shopping experience. The clerk is particularly disgusting and treats customers like thieves. I have never encountered such treatment before.

Great product selection, however it's significantly more expensive than other Spar stores. The auto-checkout system is frustrating and requires constant human intervention. For payments with multi-currency card, they disregard the HUF balance so they can rip off another 1-2% for conversion.

Worked until 18 by Hungary time in Thursday. So, an employee have asked us be hurry. Best price for meat. There is a lot of healthy food like sprouts.

A good place to stop by and pick-up some groceries. They have almost everything food related, from fresh donuts and other pastries (try a pogácsa for a Hungarian taste) to wines and some fast food (like fries and grilled chicken). The place is clean, the staff is helpful and they speak English, and the service is fast. It gets take crowded during lunch hours because this supermarket is located in an up-and-coming business district so, either avoid it then, or, bring something to read because the queues are very long. The prices are fair and you can of course pay by card or cash. You can also use the Super shop card to accumulate points and, sometimes, you can also get discounts for preferred products, but, be aware that you can only use those special discount codes in InterSpar.
