If you are a foreigner, be careful — you will be taken advantage of. We rented an apartment through Cordia for two years and had to wait five months to receive our deposit back. During that time we were constantly ignored by everyone in the agency. Emails were unanswered and calls were rarely returned. During our tenancy we had an issue with the AC in the middle of summer when temperatures were around 38°C. We had to wait one month for it to be fixed, and we were not allowed to arrange repairs ourselves. However, the real problems started when we moved out. Attila Nagy inspected the apartment, confirmed that everything was in place, and never mentioned that anything was missing. Since we were moving abroad, he simply ignored us afterwards. Every time we tried to contact him we were told he was on vacation, not in the office, or he simply would not answer calls unless you called repeatedly. Eventually we had to find the actual owner of the apartment ourselves and contact him directly. I am an International investor, I have a business in Hungary, so naturally, I have to find a place to rent. Let me tell you my experience with them. This is the most unprofessional renting company in all of my experience in traveling from Asia to the USA then the EU. They communicate by Email for rent, demanding renters do their job for them by demanding transaction statements from the bank. It is in the contract, but in the contract it states that I only have to send this to 1 person, I ended up having to send it to 2 others people. If you have sent the rent, but not the statements to a specific person, they will threatened you with lawyer for not paying rent (even when you have sent them the rent). They even send me the wrong banking transaction but refused to admit it their fault. It is so frustrating to deal with them that I have to terminate the contract, they take it that is my fault for terminating the contract so I lose the 2 months deposits. This is a mafia-like business that pray on newcomer to Hungary, please for your benefit, stay away from Cordia for your apartment hunting.

They're not trustworthy. And I am not exaggerating. Of course they will build something, they are not running away with your money, but keeping up on deadlines is not their strong side. Promises after promises and when you get angry, they say: it's not my responsibility, can't do anything now. We'll call you back. And they don't.

STAY AWAY, do not invest!!!!!!!! I totally agree with the previous reviews! They not bothering to reply to you! Been calling them and try to reach them about an ongoing development , and I received a reply after 2 months. Ridiculous!! Of course the development delayed with 6 months due to shortages of builders but they knew this information for a long time but they building several buildings at the same time when they know there are shortages of builders for years now. Horrible experience! typically Hungarian working mentality. This could never Happen in the UK. Cordia advertising them self “as trustable company” ! Well. They failed from the first second! Once again DO NOT INVEST A PENNY WITH THIS COMPANY! Also that tells a lot that they haven’t replied or at least tried to cover them self or explain for any of the reviews here
