This shopping center is closed for some years, if the renovation works succeed in time the planned reopening is on oktober 19 2023. There will not be any departmentstore though like the Skala before.

Chines products with normal market price. Skala Blaha / other name of the market. Shoes collection used to be good once!

Unfortunately my experience there has been awful. There are two saleswomen on the second floor, in the luggage department who are feisty and absolutely impolite. One of them, a blond girl dared to tell me that if I want to go shopping in Hungary, first I should speak Hungarian. Unbelievable!! I really hope these women to be fired because there are ways to treat customers.

This "department store" is a trip, I imagine this is what the old soviet era stores use to look like. Lots of horrible clothing and bad displays. BUT, up on the 2nd floor in the housewares area they have some really cool pots and pans and other cooking implements. Its worth taking a look at the red enamel pots and pans, very inexpensive and very Hungarian!
