It was a quiet and peaceful place, and at the time of my visit, there were many elderly people. Overall, the plants were not as well maintained as I had expected. Some areas were inaccessible, presumably for renovation, and the plants appeared neglected. There were rotten parts, plants growing haphazardly, and many lacked name tags, so I had to take photos and ask the AI about the things I was curious about. The birds appeared to be shedding a lot of feathers due to stress from being crowded together in a small space. The sign at the entrance stated that it was one of the oldest places in the world, so it was unfortunate to see that it was not being maintained to that extent. After looking around, I felt that the admission fee was somewhat on the expensive side. Based on my experience visiting botanical gardens in other countries, this place definitely seems to need inspection and maintenance. I hope for significant improvements. It is a pity that, aside from fruit trees, there were no particularly special plants unique to this place that I wanted to photograph and keep as memories.

Beautiful botanical gardens with lots to see including huge glasshouses, orchids, carnivorous plants, cacti, and water features dotted about. A welcome and peaceful oasis on a hot Budapest day, approx 5 mins to walk from the Metro stop, and a small bar/cafe right outside. Recommended.

A decent garden to wander around for a bit, I found it confusing to navigate the gardens and some parts seemed like you weren’t supposed to go or were you? I wasn’t sure. I felt the greenhouses weren’t bad but a bit basic compared to others I’ve seen.

We came to Budapest for the weekend mainly to visit spring parks and see the blooming trees, and this park was one of the main spots on our list. Overall, we liked it. It’s not very big, but still worth visiting, especially if you live in Budapest and want a спокойное место для прогулки. When we were there, we happened to catch a Japanese culture festival, which was a nice addition. There were a few interesting stands with ceramics, drinks, food, and small local items. The park itself is quite well maintained, lots of plants and flowers, everything looks pleasant and taken care of. At the same time, there was no strong wow effect, more like a calm and nice space) In the end, we enjoyed it. Very peaceful atmosphere and a good place for a relaxed walk.

A wonderful peaceful place in the middle of the city, remedy for your soul. Despite being quite small in size, they have lots of plants arranged in nice way. Definitely worth visiting!
