Visiting from Texas! and found a sushi gem of a restaurant nearby Margaret Island entrance. Lunch sushi prices were excellent! and quality of sushi was great! We got the “menu experience” lunch special and the ghemon sushi plate. If you’re in Budapest and you need a “sushi-fix”, I highly recommend this restaurant.

A friend recommended this place, and while it’s a great place I’ve had better sushi elsewhere in Budapest. Things other than sushi was excellent! A few bullet points: - Relaxing, quiet atmosphere with a good amount of space between tables which allows for a more private experience, as you aren’t sitting too close to anyone. - Wakame salad: Nice and crispy, slightly sweeter than what you usually get at other restaurants. The portion is a bit on the smaller side. - Spring rolls: It was a cabbage spring roll, the portion was also a bit small but had a good bite to them, the sweet chilli sauce wasn’t enough, I would serve a bit more. Overall It was really gold though. - The katsu don was amazing though! Thin strips of crispy fried chicken with teriyaki sauce, on cabbage and rice was a great combo. - From the various types of sushi, the tempura roll tasted the best.

I went with my friends here for lunch, we had yakiudon and bentos. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing and the waitress was very very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

It’s been a very long time since moving to Europe that I’ve had a delicious unagi bowl that tasted close to the real thing. They delivered on the it, and I loved it! My only wish was that it was prepared by cooking it on Japanese charcoal. Regardless, it was a fantastic experience for myself and my family.

I was craving Japanese food and explored l this place for a quick dinner. While the menu wasn’t very extensive and portions were on the smaller side, the overall experience was enjoyable. The tuna tartare was a bit over-seasoned for my taste, but the sushi itself was fresh, clean, and well-prepared—simple and to the point. A decent stop if you’re looking for a light and straightforward Japanese meal.
