We had a wonderful time at Etyeki Kúria winery outside of Budapest. Damien took great care of us for our wine tasting and charcuterie. I suggest you call ahead and set up festivities in advance. It is a first class experience and very high in demand. #VeryProfessional

Etyeki Kúria truly showcases the best of this cool-climate terroir in Hungary! Their wines are fresh, vibrant, and beautifully expressive. It was a delight to taste the 100% Zenit, the new cuvee concrete-aged Kékfrankos, and the Chardonnay, which was our standout pick. The Konkrét Kékfrankos is exceptional, so balanced, with refined spiciness and lively fruit. A brilliant start to first winery visit in Hungary!

Want to know what Zenit is all about? Find out at the Etyeki Kuria Vienyards! I had a fun informative session learning about the crossing of Zenit and I hope one day I can come back in June to attend their Annual Chardonnay Fair!

It was a fantastic visit! Love the wines, especially the concrete vats ones. Zenit and Kekfrankos are favourites! The restaurant was beautiful. Cant wait to see it in summer!

Update July 2026 A warm welcome and excellent time! Much improved from last time. We came for my mother in laws birthday, they even got her a cake with a candle. Lovely sitting outside on the terrace, air conditioning inside. A great story about the wine, loved the concrete wine. Highly recommend!! Past visit A slow and unwelcoming start to the visit. A very poor welcome, shouted at for trying to speak Hungarian, dumped on a table and left for over 20 minutes before anyone spoke to us! We nearly left... No one knew that we had picked the master wine tasting. First impressions are everything! The Manor is lucky to have excellent staff (Polish gentleman) otherwise this would have been an entirely different review. The front of house and how patrons are welcomed seriously needs looking at. The wine tasting experience was great and we opted to have a meat/ cheese plate to share. High quality ingredients. Beautiful setting.
