The apartment itself is very nice, clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The secure parking inside the private courtyard is definitely a plus. The check-in process was extremely stressful. Even though we completed the online check-in using their required app, they only provided the code for the apartment door, leaving out the main gate access code. We were stuck outside, and neither our calls nor our messages were answered. We had to contact Booking.com customer support to intervene. The host answered Booking immediately and claimed they had emailed the code, which was completely untrue (we received nothing). Without Booking's help, we would have been stranded. It’s a pity because the place itself is great, but the communication and lack of availability for guests in an emergency are unacceptable.
