Budapest District XII is one of Budapest's 23 districts. Life in the capital moves at a big-city pace: businesses often keep longer hours than in smaller towns, many shops, bars and restaurants stay open late, and nonstop shops serve customers around the clock. The Danube banks, Buda Castle and Andrássy út are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Széchenyi, Gellért and Rudas baths and the ruin bars of District VII draw visitors all year. Public transport is run by BKK, with four metro lines, trams, buses and the HÉV suburban railway; on Friday afternoons and before long weekends the roads out of the city jam up, so leave extra time. In Budapest, BKK passes and tickets can be bought in the BudapestGO app, and parking in the centre is charged by zone, typically on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00.

Super tasty and light food. We really like the small plates concept since that way you can taste from everything. The place is super cozy and nice, service is great. Gluten free options available.

I hope the owner makes note of those working during my visit. He could not have better staff. That alone makes this a 5 star stop. Good food, wonderful ambiance, and excellent wine at excellent prices ensure that I will return. Probably often. EDIT, and i have returned often. Every experience is as good as the previous. It is 7/26, 14:00 ... again, perfect service. Thank you. And again today and at least 3 times since the last edit. Hey the menu changes often and it's always amazing.

This place has been excellent already for years, and after their new smaller menu concept it has probably gotten even better! The prices are a bit higher than before, but I think the food is well worth the prices - the kitchen is really on top of their game and I am glad to pay for this quality and innovative portions. The service here is always excellent, fast and kind. The place itself is very cozy, especially the terrace with the small ”fireplace” is very romantic during the cold winter days. Also their wine selection is worth mentioning! Lovable gem!

One of my favorite restaurants in Budapest on the Buda side. Even so you could be afraid that the restaurant is geographically seen awfully located - at a very busy crossroad where even the tram is going around the restaurant - you will be surprised how you will not notice that at all once sitting there. You can sit inside or outside in their beautiful garden, which also provides some toys for smaller kids. Due to the rather limited space inside you should rather reserve a place. Food has high quality. At the moment they offer kind of tapas of different kinds. Staff is always friendly. So definitely a place to recommend!
