Founded by Jean-Yves Fournier, from Lyone. A great shop. We tasted and bought 4 cheeses. What a delight to discuss what we liked then sample each cheese. Nothing artificial or trendy, simply a true French cheese shop. Jim and Betty

Fournier Sajtbolt is a real gem tucked away on the Buda side, just a short walk from the French Institute of Budapest. The owner is genuinely friendly and clearly knows his craft, taking the time to explain the different cheeses and make thoughtful recommendations. Am amazing shop! A great cheese shop with an amazing staff and great wine! What a fun shop, they speak English and French and Hungarian, that I heard while I was there! If you want cheese go here you won't be disappointed!

Stumbled upon this shop ambling the streets. Could not speak more highly of quality of cheese and gentleman working. I learned histories of particular cheeses and comical anecdotes of others. If you’re on the Buda side, definitely check it out.
