We stopped by Gelarto Rosa for a sweet break, and it was absolutely worth it! The ice cream was incredibly creamy, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. There were plenty of delicious flavors to choose from, and every scoop tasted fresh and high quality. The staff were friendly and served us with a smile, making the experience even better. If you're exploring Budapest and craving a great dessert, Gelarto Rosa is definitely a place you shouldn't miss. Highly recommended!

We saw this place recommended on social media and decided to check it out. There was a long line, but it was worth the wait — they have a huge selection of ice cream flavors. We tried peach, berry, pistachio, and a few others, and they were all really tasty. The price is a bit high, mainly because of the fancy rose-shaped presentation, but the taste definitely delivered.

Very good ice cream. Lovely presentation. A bit pricey but its a must. Not to long queue when I went but sometimes it can be long! I had 3 flavours - strawberry, lavender and vanilla! It was delicious and ate it very quick because of the heat! The service went fast and friendly staff 🥰 it is a must. They have a gelarto rosa across the square (right ahead of this picture) with more flavours!

Went here multiple times a day throughout my recent stay in Budapest. Extremely tasty and a wide range of flavours. Shout out to Rita who served me and made the best gelato and sorbet rose - it is appreciated.

Beautiful presentation, but a bit pricey for what you get. I stumbled upon this place while walking through the area and later read that it’s quite famous. The location right near the basilica is excellent and perfect for a stroll. The presentation of the ice cream is absolutely beautiful: the staff shapes the gelato into a realistic rose, which looks amazing and makes for a great photo! My only critique on the service is that I ordered chocolate and pistachio, and they put the chocolate in the center and the pistachio on the outside. Because the outer petals are thinner, the strong chocolate immediately took over, and I barely tasted the pistachio. I really wish they had asked me which flavor I wanted in the middle instead of just choosing the assembly order for me. Overall, it feels a bit pricey for the actual quantity and flavor quality of the ice cream you get. You are definitely paying a premium for the artistic technique and the tourist location. Still, it’s a nice experience to try out.
