I come back every year. This year you've renovated the cafe and changed the decor to my surprise. Wow! Absolutely beautiful! It literally gave me goosebumps. What an amazing change and difference. Coffee is still delicious and staff friendly and helpful. You also sell some fantastic coffee brewing equipment. Highly recommend.🙏🏻👋🏻

Coffee: I only go here to buy coffee beans for my home barista setup. Convenient (and lucky) for me, since I live nearby. Arguably one of the best coffee roasters in the country, although we are lucky to have a great variety of good quality speciality coffee roasters here in Budapest/Hungary. Goosebump focuses more on mid-light to lighter roasts, which fits my taste palette. Good value for money as kg price is cheaper relative to other roasters/coffee shops. Service: Will admit it, service at the counter is so-so, some staff are really pleasant who you can have a good convo with, other lacks basic service skills and looks bored at work/life. Food: I never eat here, and also read other reviews who highlights the lack of good food options, which is true. However, this is first and foremost a coffee LAB, as the name of the place suggests. Although they can up their food game, their focus is primarily on coffee, so I can't be mad at that! No surprises there. Facility: Simple interior, which fits the place. HUGE bonus is the coffee lab for coffee nerds or people who wants to get familiar with coffee and become a home/professional barista.

My second time now at the Goosebumps Coffee in Buda. First time I had matcha latte hot and today iced matcha latte. They did not have almond milk, however, that is not a big deal. I love the interior decor and environment as well as the vibe. What I usually do, I walk from New York Café Pest to Starbucks Buda over the bridge and after that I walk back so stopping at the Goosebumps gives me the right kind of a kick. They also run a little shop and have an interesting coffee assortment and I definitely love that coffee aroma inside. I haven’t had any food here yet but that will soon change. I feel confident to give them 5 stars also based upon my fellow Google guides’ reviews. I’ll check upon them from time to time to make certain they keep the standards up to par.
