Being new to Budapest and with a short time, I looked up at some recommendations for great beers. Finding Gravity came with good and bad news. The good news is that it was the best beer I had during my visit. They brew their own and the small underground pub has a lot of character. The service was great, with a very friendly and knowledgeable lady at the bar. I had the Cosmic Dust Hazy IPA which was refreshing and easy going. Top notch was the bottle pouring of Gravity Collision Course, Imperial Stout. This was a suggestion from a chatty regular and it made my day. The bad news was that this was the last stop on my list otherwise I would have returned and stayed longer. Surely next time.

This is a pleasant place to get a great beer. Gravity is in a cellar (curved roof - you get the idea). I had a raspberry stout (and they brought water to the table as a matter of course). Friendly staff too.

@willesco on Untappd. INSANE!!! Value for money inside the city but also compared to all of Budapest Beer Week Festival - BPBW. Thanks to the 3 waitresses who worked on Saturday night! We know they appreciated us! Always knew when to come over for the next round, keeping us well hydrated with water and well fed with snacks as well. The hospitality was incredible!!! 45,700(~€130) Huf for 6 lads who went heavy on the beers!!! I was 7 but showed up late to the party!!! The Polaris - DDH NZ Pils and Lunasa - Oaked Irish Red were the highlights but I did wish I went through the whole lineup but a week after beers sorry. The Petr Hobža mustard crisps were so good, we are craving them now!!! Didn't take a picture but I'm sure it is them

Hidden underground gem with a super relaxed vibe and some really impressive beers on tap. The space has that low-key, laid-back feel where you immediately want to settle in for a few rounds. The bartender was excellent—friendly, attentive, and clearly knew the beers well without being over the top about it. Made the whole experience even better. The standout for me was the Nebula Hazy. Super flavorful without being heavy on the gut, which is a tough balance to get right. Bright, smooth, and incredibly drinkable with a really dialed-in hop profile—no bitterness overload at all. The Polaris New Zealand Pils came in a close second. Slightly cloudier than expected for a pilsner, but it worked. Clean, smooth finish with a crispness that still came through nicely. Very easy to drink and absolutely worth ordering. Overall, a great spot if you’re into well-crafted beer in a chill, underground setting. Highly recommend.
