Tourist trap, avoid this for your own good. Barely leave any comment, but this restaurant really pissed me off. 1. The food is BAD, probably the worst food I’ve eaten here in Budapest. I ordered three different dish and they all taste the same, just artificial nonnatural tomato flavour and very very salty. 2. All the main dish only come with a piece of meat, without any side, if you expect anything like vegetable or potato, they all request extra cost as a side. Even the type of dish itself supposed to come with potato, they charge extra for coming with potato cubes otherwise you only get a very salty sauce with a piece of meat itself. 3. The staff keep asking you to order more which feels too pushy. For example, when I order a main dish he always asked, “come with blablabla?” But never state that is side dish, which costs extra. Basically when I order anything, he will always ask to top it up with something else to make extra money. 4. The staff is not providing good service & environment is dusty and unclean. As soon as we take a seat, I did not even touch the menu yet, the staff already asked if you’re ready to order. After we said no, he left and never come back to check on

A really good and authentic Hungarian restaurant to visit! We had chicken paprikash with dumplings, beef stew with potatoes, breaded pork with potatoes and a chestnut dessert for sharing. When ordering food You have the option to add a salad and sides as well. Otherwise it is going to be just the core food, we all had the cucumber salad which was good but maybe a little sweet. Overall the food was delicious and authentic! Our server was really kind and he recomended different foods that we could try. We got to sit outside which made the atmosphere great as the other tables were filled as well. We went there on a friday evening and did not have to book a table. The pricing was really good and budget friendly.

Nice place. Good gulasch soup 9€, beer 4€. Very good service. I recomend

Lovely place, goulash is OK (a bit more meat would be better), unfortunately only white bread was available, good service, atmosphere like in yhe old pub; service was not included, if I am not mistaken, was not clear from the bill as it was a small piece of paper with a few numbers))

We went here once in daytime and once at night. Both times service was really nice and it's a good local spot:) Not overpriced and hungarian crepes were great!
