Class little spot more than reasonable price for a room and full kitchen/ living area . Dead close to some mint bars and restaurants. And Gül babas tomb is literally 3 minutes away. Thanks for the wonderful stay

We booked an apartment on booking and, as per Hungarian regulations, we were required to provide our personal information. The host on Booking asked for our details, claiming he would handle the paperwork for us. We provided the requested information, but in the end, we had to fill out the forms ourselves. This raised concerns about why the host asked for our details in the first place if he wasn't going to use them as promised. Additionally, there is no proper ventilation in the apartment. Even with the window open, it's stuffy and uncomfortable to stay in the space, and I can't imagine how unbearable it must be during the summer. Moreover, smoking is allowed on the premises, and the smell easily seeps into the apartment, making it impossible to escape due to the lack of ventilation. Another issue was that workers came in the morning without any prior warning and started making a lot of noise, cutting metal, which was incredibly disruptive. We were never informed that such work would be happening. The apartment itself is also in poor condition. The bathroom door handle came off when I tried to open it, the metal framing on the showerhead fell apart, and when I went to open the

Very nice and helpful hosts, Check-in was automatized, Nora was very responsive and prepared everything, however we didnt meet her. The bikes were a huge bonus and were very fun. Once we have a baby we are going to come back here and try the baby carrier tricycle too :) Although there were a few minor issues with the weather :) during our stay, we enjoyed our stay very much. The balcony is also very pretty . The area is being modernised with parks, groceries and cafes really close. The famous island of Budapest is only 5 minutes from the house . It s also very safe, my wife felt safe enough to run in the dark!

Nora's house is a unique accommodation that recalls the athmosphere of the turkish old town built in the 17th century with small, curlicued streets and family-run baths and teahouses. A real home with rural soul but urban character, the perfect suite if you want be 5 mins from the city in a quiet neighborhood. Should i have the chance to return Budapest, I will definitel y stay again in the Gul BabaSAray:)

The location is a 5+ stars - a very quiet, historical Turkish quarter of Budapest not far from Margit Bridge - The owner and family are super nice and don't let you go until you taste their fantastic homemade hungarian spirit called pálinka:)
