About Halászcsárda
Családias hangulatú étterem a meseszép Duna partján :)
Halászcsárda is a fish restaurant or halászcsárda in Százhalombatta, Pest County. It is listed at Százhalombatta, Strand u. 2, 2440, one of the local businesses residents and visitors turn to.
Restaurants in Hungary usually open from around 11:00 until about 22:00, while bars and ruin bars stay open much later from Thursday to Saturday. On weekdays many places serve a napi menü, a fixed-price lunch of soup and a main course, typically from 11:00 to 15:00. Book a table for Friday and Saturday evenings and public holidays. Many bills already include a service charge (usually 10–15%); if not, a tip of around 10% is customary but never compulsory. Many restaurants also accept the SZÉP card, the employer-funded leisure card. Ask which fish is fresh that day and whether the halászlé is made the Szeged way (strained) or the Baja way (with thin pasta). Fish restaurants along the Tisza and the Danube get crowded on summer weekends, so book ahead.
According to Google, Halászcsárda keeps these hours: daily, 11:00–21:30. It is open seven days a week. It opens on Sunday too, as many restaurants and cafés in Hungary do. Expect changes around holidays such as Christmas Eve, Christmas, Easter and 20 August, and call first if you are making a special trip. The listed phone number is +36 23 355 862. It is shown in international format with the +36 country code, so it works from Hungary and from abroad alike; within Hungary you can also dial 06 instead of +36.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 2,310 reviews, a strong result for a fish restaurant or halászcsárda that suggests consistent service.

We stopped for lunch here on our way to Pécs and it was the best decision! Very traditional Hungarian restaurant, many choices in the menu (menu in English available), great service (English is limited but enough to order and the waiter was really nice). We had the Hungarian bean soup, mushroom soup, the cabbage and mixed salad, and the lamb with croquettes and we were all very happy with our choices. We highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious! The pork ribs stuffed with ham and cheese were a heavenly combination of flavors. The crispy pork knuckles paired perfectly with the tangy red cabbage and oven potatoes. A must-visit spot in Hungary for such satisfying meals!
