It is THE place where most of the hungarian cons being held, mondocon, playit and the bcc! I really enjoy going there as a cosplayer. But the prices keep going up and it's starting to get really overpriced. 3 stars.

Recently attended a Leadership Training Seminar at Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, and the overall experience was extremely professional. The venue is spacious, well organized, and clearly designed to handle large scale corporate events smoothly. The seminar hall had excellent lighting, a high quality LED stage setup, and clear audio throughout the session. Even from the back rows, visibility of the stage and presentation screens was perfect. Seating arrangement was comfortable and properly structured for a formal training environment. The tables were neatly arranged with enough personal space, which made note taking and participation easy. Translation headsets and event coordination were managed efficiently, showing strong operational planning. The entry and internal navigation were smooth, and the staff appeared experienced in handling large gatherings. The venue atmosphere felt modern, structured, and ideal for international conferences or leadership events. Overall, Hungexpo provides a highly professional environment for corporate seminars, exhibitions, and international conferences. A reliable choice for large business events in Budapest.

This place is pretty run down compared to other major metropolitan conference centers I have attended. There was barely any air conditioning (despite being 37 C outside) and the bathroom was disgusting by the end of the day. If you stay downtown, it will take a while to get to this place, especially during rush hour. The taxi line was completely random when trying to leave the conference center.
