Stylish, warm, and full of real lives. The district’s history told through people lives embedded into historical events. Family furniture and shoe workshops, a marathon champion, the first basketball school teams, a neighbourhood restaurant, opera, an “prohibited” radio, treasures found in attics, neighbours risking their lives to help each other during WWII, weddings and family photo albums. It leaves you with the feeling that this district welcomes everyone: those born here and those who just arrived. Worth an hour of your time. My fav part is “prohibited” radio playlist, I wish it were available at a streaming service!
