Tends to be a lot cheaper than the other Asian markets in town. Also, after living in Seoul for 5 years, I know good kimchi and they have a really good homemade one

First off, I would never go out of my way to actively tarnish a Korean business or reputation in this city but these guys are quite predatory. FYI, I have been a customer since 2019. I popped into the store earlier this afternoon to buy some "찰떡 아이스" (sticky rice ice cream) with my companion. To my horror, this is what I saw (photos attached) as soon as I opened it. I immediately went back into the store and asked for a refund as the expiration date is stamped as July 25, 2024 (Koreans put the year first on their products). The cashier calls her boss to explain the situation and then passes the phone to me as I speak Korean. All I wanted was my money returned, which I did eventually receive, but not after being told by the boss that it's actually the production date, NOT the expiration. He even told me to open another one, which I did of course, and showed the cashier (please see photos). The cherry on top of all this is that she had the audacity to tell me that the important thing is the ice cream filling inside which is totally fine from her perspective. Needless to say, I haven't been this flabbergasted in a long time. Save yourself time and money and go visit Duna Panda inste

Really nice Korean market! You can find a lot of different Korean noodles, sweets and drinks, they also make fresh kimchi! 😋

They have variety of Korean and Japanese snacks here. Comparing to other grocery store this is cheaper compared to others. You can find variety of instant ramen and they often have 1+1 sales. U can also find many Korean side dishes I.e kimchi. There are also many other can food and sauces, ingredients for cooking. I received a good service from the shop keeper here!

A very good practical Korean and Japanese ingredients, frozen seafoods, Korean spirits, umeshu, instant ramen, and awesome Korean pickled assortments and Kimichi buckets. If you want to buy decent Kimichi, this is place to check it out. Their prices are decent for the products they sell. The local staff are friendly and speaks English. The Korean manager or owner isn't the most friendliest, but he is ok. Perhaps, he doesn't speak English, so.. Highly recommend checking out their products if you are craving to eat or cook Korean or Japanese foods.
