Great place, very authentic, a remnant of the times when suburban neighbours got together to have fun after work, socialise and have few drinks. There's electric darts and two boxes to sit in, a few tables and a counter. It's easy to settle in to the atmosphere and be yourself as it's rustic, minimal and no-nonsense. So many places like this closed forever in the last few decades, and it's a shame really. It's sadly not due to the fact that people drink less, it's rather because social interactions just aren't simulating enough in our fast paced world and the demographic that could afford such a place but not look for higher quality reduced to a minimum. People either drink at home and spend a little less, escaping the daily struggle with alcohol abuse or pursue superficial values created by consumerism and pop culture, focusing on labels and fancy interiors rather than the social, get-together aspect of bars like this and drinking with moderation. At last, hope remains until the gate of Karaván is open for the brave and true, willing to face their own humanity: a sometimes loud word, a sloppy joke, sweat pants and used sneakers, the tired but proud faces of the working class. Szenzációs kis kocsma kertesházas környezetben. Láthatóan összeszokott barátságos törzsközönség, kedvesen érdeklődő tulajdonos(?), otthonos kerthelyiség. Ha arra járunk, tuti benézünk még!

Nagytétényi kocsmatúránk negyedik állomása 1995 óta szolgálja a népet. Klasszikus kertvárosi kocsma, jelenlétét anno egy címerállat teve tovább nyomatékosította, aminek jelentősége ma egyre nagyobb, miként népszerűsége csökken, sajnos itt sem megy már úgy a bolt, ahogy régen. A társaságon kívül, ami folyamatosan kopik, mivégre is jönnének? Filozofált vendéglátónk, hisz mindenki spórol, a környéken mindenkinek van kertje, a TV is nagyobb otthon, szóval félő, hogy közel a Karaván történetének vége. Jó pofa csapolt sör már rég nincs, csak üveges. Viszont vannak darts táblák, elől-hátul kert - napjárástól függően váltogatható, bográcsozási lehetőség, és egy csomó kellemes emlék, némelyikről a fotófalon emlékeznek. //.. a "Mutass egy kocsmát!" facebook csoportból idézve magamat...//
