After a heavy few days of horseback archery training, I was really looking forward to a solid session at one of Budapest's many massage parlors. I chose Karma Thai Massage because their pricing was transparently displayed in the window and the location was close to my hotel. I opted for a 60-minute Traditional Thai Massage for just under 15,000 HUF. I was led to a treatment room and asked to change into provided loose-fitting pants and a t-shirt. I checked my watch as I entered the room at 12:28 PM, and was told the masseuse would arrive in a couple of minutes. I lay down on one of two floor mattresses. Given that the parlor did not seem busy and there were other rooms with elevated massage beds, I was surprised I wasn't asked about my room or setup preference. While the massage technique itself wasn't terrible, several operational factors made it hard to relax: - Attire & Depth: Having been to many massages, I have never been asked to keep a t-shirt on. The extra fabric layer prevented the treatment from being as deep or thorough as I needed. - Lack of Communication: The masseuse did not ask about pressure preferences or target focus areas, and didn't speak a word beyond the

Perfect 👌 me and my wife loved it. We reserved 2 massages hot oil massage and one foot massage. The team is professional. We will come back for sure in our next visit. Recommended.

We came back twice for couple oil massage. The place is clean and quiet, all the workers were very good and professional and not just a generic pleasant massage but one that takes into account the problems you have. the service counter was very good and spoke good English. the prices are good and check the website for coupons. Highly recommended.

I can’t recall the last time I had an authentic Thai massage but gosh I was reminded today in the ways I was kneaded back to former flexibility! Apple was amazing, kind, and thoughtful. A one hour session felt like two, and everything I needed to decompress physically and mentally. The two front desk coordinators I met were also very lovely and diligent in ensuring a good experience was delivered.

Very nicely decorated, I've rated it low because a friend and I booked 90 minute sessions: 1. The masseuses were sick, coughing alot, all of them. For both of us, they had to keep leaving the rooms to cough. Wear masks at least! 2. My friend had visible bruising the day after her massage, massages are not supposed to be so strong that they cause internal bleeding. Edit: dropped a star because i see other reviews where bruising was caused
