A Kisbojtár Vendéglő hamisítatlan óbudai hangulattal és házias ételekkel várja Önt a hét minden napján! Családi vállalkozásunk 31 évvel ezelőtt indult a Kolostor Sörbárban, majd 7 év elteltével átköltöztünk a Bojtár utcába, amit azóta is két generáció működtet! Fantastic food, taste like you are eating homemade food. We had to go back the second time it was so delicious. If I was local I would be a regular! Highly recommend

The restaurant is located in the rather affluent area in Budapest III in an alley with old trees. Tourists probably won't find it here. Still a recommendation.

The typical atmosphere of a Hungarian family restaurant was complemented by the hustle and bustle of the lunch hour. From the reviews we could guess that the food would be good, and in the end we were actually positively shocked. All food excellently prepared, really worthy of incredibly high ratings. Maximum satisfaction with both the food and the service. Foreign language did not make a problem. The price was reasonable even with the tip included.

You can find a lot of good food here, and the place is really cosy, and feels like grandmas place. However it isn't a place I would go back to more than twice. There are extras beside the regular menu, and they do good food,. There are not many tables, so make sure to book a table. And try the starters :) Not many good things on the dessert menu, but the derelye is done well.
