I stayed at Korona Panzió in Budapest and overall had a decent experience, especially considering the price. The place is located in a quiet residential area, which is nice if you want to avoid the noise of the city. There’s also a bus stop right outside, so getting into the center is still pretty easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay, which I really appreciated. The room was simple but okay for a short stay. It had everything I needed, and it was clean enough, even if the furniture felt a bit old. That being said, the hotel is a bit dated and could use some renovation in certain areas. It’s not the most modern or luxurious place, but for the price, it’s good value. Overall, I would recommend it for a short stay if you’re looking for something affordable and quiet rather than a high-end hotel.

Cleanliness No, rooms are very desolate, curtain half ripped of, dishes are dirty, heaters painting coming off, carpet disgusting. Room is moldy, and dusty we had troubles to breath. They stayed sauna with tripple room, that isn't true. Broken mirror, chair, blood steam on the mattress. Water cooker never cleaned? Bed lights and bathroom light broken, doors are so thin you hear everything. And party all night, not possible to sleep, even so its stated there are No events or party's allowed. Never again

Looking for a less expensive option than my regular hotel, I decided to try the Korona. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a total of 23 rooms, it was quaint. Considering the price/convenience trade offs, not a bad hotel. Though, don't be surprised if the Korona isn't a Marriott or even a Holiday Inn. And I agree with other posts that the carpet could use replacement, otherwise it was quite comfortable by Pension standards. Parking is quite limited (3-4 cars max), but public transportation is readily available.

It's better to choose another hotel! Towels are stained with Domestos and torn!!! It's disgusting to even touch! I think they don't change the bed linen there after each guest. There was a cockroach running around in the room. The air conditioner didn't work, the refrigerator had ice, but it was warmer inside than in the room. The windows are old, the handles on them barely hold. Honestly, it's disgusting. I had to stay overnight and leave the hotel early in the morning, I would never dare to stay there again. I wish I had read the instructions before arriving there.
