Budapest District XVI is one of Budapest's 23 districts. Life in the capital moves at a big-city pace: businesses often keep longer hours than in smaller towns, many shops, bars and restaurants stay open late, and nonstop shops serve customers around the clock. The Danube banks, Buda Castle and Andrássy út are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Széchenyi, Gellért and Rudas baths and the ruin bars of District VII draw visitors all year. Public transport is run by BKK, with four metro lines, trams, buses and the HÉV suburban railway; on Friday afternoons and before long weekends the roads out of the city jam up, so leave extra time. In Budapest, BKK passes and tickets can be bought in the BudapestGO app, and parking in the centre is charged by zone, typically on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00.

Absolutely love this place. We are going to a family visit every January, and this is the place we going back all the time,if possible every day. This year we were a bit unlucky,as the restaurant had a little break, probably well deserved after Christmas time,so we could only visit once. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully plated, and you can really taste the traditional Hungarian cuisine. The beef was cooked beautifully, tender, melting in our mouth.Portions are quiet large,so we couldn't manage to have a dessert after having starters and main course. It is not a cheap restaurant, but the quality explains why.The service is always very polite, helpful and professional.I find every year the same staff, which i belive is mean, that they have a nice work enviorment.Music is not intrusive, calm, but fun.I wish all the best for this business,so we have a chance to go back on our next visits.Thank You

Outskirts of Bp, we’re very glad to have found this nice restaurant. The staff is really friendly and the interior is nice. Nothing special but nice. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. We ordered 3 deserts, 2 entrees and 2 deserts. All really well made. The only thing was the deserts were a bit on the sweet side. I’ve posted some photos and everything is as good as they look. Definitely a place to visit.

We like this restaurant very much - a nice surprise at a local suburb neighborhood of Budapest. We return every year with all the family form the kids to the grandparents and - everybody enjoys the very quality food with many good options ... The interior contents to the exterior wonderful garden..very pleasant atmosphere. We've tried many great dishes - the Duck, the Hungarian Paprika Pasta...and don't skip the Pea soup! For desserts, they have in the same garden a patisserie..also with ice-cream 🤤

We found this place at random, and were blown away by very nearly every aspect of our dinner here! The restaurant looks and feels classy. The service is extremely polite and professional, and also really quick; we did not wait for more than a couple of minutes to order drinks, then food, then have our empty plates taken away. Multiple waiters come and go, they are kind and helpful, feels like a well oiled machine. The food was also amazingly good. The menu has a reasonable amount of dishes, all recognizable Hungarian staples, but with some kind of twist that really works (or at least worked perfectly for the two dishes we tried.) I appreciated the decent selection, not too few but not too many, and just delicious!! I had a lemonade, which felt very natural, and can highly recommend. The prices were decent, good value for the taste and quality that Koronakert offers. We came at the weekend before Christmas, for dinner, and the place was packed. I would recommend a reservation on any day anyway. But we were amazed by our experience here overall, and will definitely visit in the future!
