We had the standard langos with added Hungarian sausage. It's a well-known langos spot, but our visit was a bit underwhelming. The place is decent enough, though there are better options out there. The portion size is good and the langos itself is big, but the toppings were pretty scarce. For a place with this reputation you'd expect them to be more generous with the toppings. It filled us up, but nothing about it stood out, and I'd probably skip it next time I'm in Budapest.

If you’re looking for the best lángos in Budapest, Lángos Papi is the place to go. Unlike many spots in the city that feel like tourist traps, Lángos Papi truly delivers an authentic experience. The taste is wonderfully traditional — crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and topped with generous, high-quality ingredients. Every bite feels homemade and true to Hungarian street food culture. What really stands out is the portion size. The lángos is absolutely massive, more than enough to satisfy a big appetite. On top of that, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. You get an authentic, delicious meal without overpaying, which is rare in a city where many places charge premium prices for average food. Highly recommended if you want real Hungarian flavor without the tourist markup!

First time trying Langos! And it was so tasty, the base was warm and crispy and the toppings were just right. Waiting patiently for when we visit Budapest again so I can get another haha

Came a few times when they were on lunch break so finally we were able to try it. First off the staff was really friendly, she was so nice explaining to us what’s the best. We got one fully loaded and one garlic Langos. Very heavy garlic flavor but it was tasty! Decided to take away since the benches were bombarded with pigeons.

The langos are huge, you can easily share one between two people. Unfortunately they are served on a piece of paper so they dont stay warm for long. Also there are a lot of pigeons trying to get to your food - didnt feel very hygienic. It is still tasty but you dont need to make a special trip just to visit this particular store.
