Restaurants in Hungary usually open from around 11:00 until about 22:00, while bars and ruin bars stay open much later from Thursday to Saturday. On weekdays many places serve a napi menü, a fixed-price lunch of soup and a main course, typically from 11:00 to 15:00. Book a table for Friday and Saturday evenings and public holidays. Many bills already include a service charge (usually 10–15%); if not, a tip of around 10% is customary but never compulsory. Many restaurants also accept the SZÉP card, the employer-funded leisure card. Burger bars often take orders online or through delivery apps. Queues are longest at weekday lunchtimes, so ordering ahead saves time.

Completely disappointed. Upcharges everything from 3490HUF then become 5500HUF by using language barrier hidden cost. (Even the paper tray cost money). Taste is even worst, very salty and unpleasant.

Extremely shady tourist trap that takes advantage of language barriers to up-sell you on everything. Was charged about 4 euros extra for a pinch of cheddar cheese on my langos and another 2 euros because they claimed they had no plates (used a box) Ordered a simple traditional langos (which costs less than $5 anywhere else) and was charged 6x that amount. They won't tell you about every extra cost until after they charge you. Avoid this place at all costs

I was scammed at this store, when I chose Langos cake on the menu it cost about 3900 HUF, but when I paid it cost up to 6200 HUF, with the reason that he asked what kind of sauce I wanted to eat? Do you like to eat tomatoes? He didn't say that those things were to pay extra, and I was completely fooled by his invitations. Please don't let anyone be fooled like me 🤧

I don’t know what everyone’s problem is… It cost me 10€ 🤷♂️. People here keep complaining that they added extra toppings to their lángos and then had to pay more… but there’s literally a sign saying, “If you want extra, you have to pay extra.” The lángos was good.

As mentioned above, a real tourist trap 🤣. People with weaker stomachs should think before going there. If you take a so-called traditional product from the menu, it is possible to eat it. Products advertised with colorful pictures are simply a waste of food and it is difficult to eat. Food safety does not seem to be a priority either, mainly euro symbols are in front of you. Recommended for observing a tourist trap, but not as a place to eat.
