By far my favorite cafe in this city. I went countless times in my 2 month summer internship 2 years ago and was the first cafe I went to when visiting this summer. Their coffee is AMAZING both hot and iced! Their latte art is phenomenal. The atmosphere too. The wooden design and arrangement in the cafe are cute and really fit the vibe. There are multiple locations but this one is my favorite to have a coffee and then go for a stroll on Margaret’s Island and take in a view of the parliament.

Our mornings in Madal Cafe always started perfectly with a great coffee and a fresh croissant or sandwich. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and exactly what you want at the beginning of the day. Everything tasted fresh, the coffee was excellent, and the staff made the place feel warm and welcoming. It quickly became our favorite little morning stop in Budapest and the perfect way to wake up before exploring the city.

"A fairly mediocre experience, especially considering the high prices. It’s a self-service spot where you order and collect your items at the counter. The staff member there was fine—not particularly friendly, but not rude either. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. There was no background music to create a nice vibe, and some tables weren't cleared (one had an empty coffee cup sitting there the whole time), which felt a bit neglected. What we ordered: Cheesecake: It was tasty enough, but I’ve definitely had better. Mousse Cake: It was nice, but nothing special or worth a return visit on its own. Mango Matcha: A big disappointment—it honestly just tasted like grass. Bottom line: Overpriced for what you get, and the overall experience felt like it lacked effort

Great coffee place with a great selections of Coffee, lattes, specialty drinks, baked breads and desserts. Warm and inviting staff, and great environment for chats and work. Worth giving it a visit if you are looking for a great cafe.

I tried matcha latte for the first time in my life, and I liked it. (1490 Ft) The egg-cream sandwich was not something to remember. (1090 Ft) It’s fine for studying / working for a few hours, since no one will bother you. It will be a pricey study session, but it’s a good option on weekends when the libraries are closed.
