This is much more fun than I expected. We went there as a couple with a baby and, laughed the whole time. I thought we would only see a couple of wax figures but no - there's some interactive experiences as well, such as pieces of clothes you can wear, music you can choose, a poem (with your name) machine, sports throphies you can grab and others. You can touch the wax figures from the neck down, take photos and videos, go to an artistic toilet, etc... My only compliant is their photo service - you take one relatively early, but have to go all the way to the exit to see how it looks. If you don't like the phoro and want to retake, you have to go all the way back and repeat the process. You should be able to see a preview right away because, we just gave up on it.

I had a great time at Madame Tussauds Budapest! This was my first time visiting a Madame Tussauds, and I ended up spending around 2-2.5 hours exploring everything. There was a decent amount to see, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take fun photos along the way. I particularly enjoyed the interactive exhibits. One of my favorites was the E.T. setup, where you can sit on the bicycle with E.T. in the basket, which was really fun! I also liked the Mission: Impossible exhibit where you can sit on a motorbike behind Tom Cruise. There were quite a few other interactive setups and photo opportunities throughout the museum as well. I visited in December 2025, so they also had some Christmas-themed displays where you could take photos, which was a nice seasonal addition. The museum itself was well organized and very easy to navigate. You essentially follow a single route through the exhibits, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally missing sections. It wasn’t too crowded when I visited, which made it much more enjoyable since I could take my time with the exhibits and photos. There are restrooms available, and there’s also a small café. I stopped for a hot chocolate, which

The museum is modern, well organized, and beautifully designed, with plenty of opportunities for fun and memorable pictures. The staff were friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. Even though it can get busy, there is enough space to enjoy each section at your own pace. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or as a couple, I highly recommend this attraction. We laughed a lot, took dozens of photos, and created some fantastic memories. It was absolutely worth the visit, and I would happily return the next time I’m in Budapest.

Was very pleased with our experience ! I have to admit I was a bit suspicious at first, and when I saw the price even more so but it did seem worth it in the end!! Me and my mum had a cracking time! Upon entry you pay and you have a locker to store any bags in and can hang your coats which is very considerate with how interactive the experience i. it would be inconvient to be carrying to much stuff around. The staff were super friends and clearly outlined the instructions. We are English and the staffs English was really good. The interactivity is what truly makes it! From putting your robe and crown in with the Queen to hopping on the back of Tim cruises Bike. It had a good mix of Hungarian historical figures and modern figures. Got some really funny photos. We spent 2 or so hours there going through everything, it was not overcrowded at all. We went on a Saturday afternoon for reference. As there was not a massive crowed you were never waiting long so get your photo with a figure and felt you could really enjoy the experience without holding people up. Would definitely recommend!!!
