This was an awesome little bar, lots of nooks and crannies for seating, but a big bar but that was good. Staff very friendly, dog friendly also. I'll be back when I'm next in the area for sure

I stopped in for a beer and that is what i got and no more. It's a really interesting place with a lot of history. Immediately after it became known that i was an English speaker, the place went quiet. There were only five or six people there including 2 bartenders, but they had a nice social hum of conversation, then nothing. Of course they recovered pretty quickly. But nobody said a word to me. It was a little sad. I should add that as a native English speaker, i would certainly not expect a citizen of Hungary to speak fluent English! But it would be fun to chat, to learn more about each other's culture. And maybe i will pick up a few words in Hungarian! Cultural exchange is why i am here! I welcome the opportunity to learn about your history, and your thoughts about the state of the world today.

Very interesting basement type pub. Quiet and quiet hidden. Popped in for a quick drink. Lady behind bar was friendly and service was perfect. Very well priced. Definitely recommend a drink here.

Best little dive bar in the city. Mainly occupied by locals which is what makes it better in all honesty. A pint costs around £1.80. Edit - Been again recently and it's still a superb bar. Just an amazing atmosphere.

Small pub with cheap and usual Hungarian beer. There are a few tables and chairs on the terrace which is nice considering that the streets are not heavy with traffic there.
