I spent about two hours with my 6-year old and wouldn't come back. Most things seem to lack adequate funding or care. Half the screens (that would make exhibited items interactive) show Windows error messages or are turned off. There is an exhibit of aromatic spices (like lemongrass) in tin boxes, but the spices themselves are missing :D When I asked a staff member about this, he said they'd removed them because people had stolen them. The dino exhibition included a grand total of one dino skeleton. Most of the staff members behaved the way I expected Hungarian staff members to behave: bored of their job, bored of life, and gesturing in the general direction of what you asked or muttering a few words under their breath. This is supposed to be a modern museum, so I expected a lot more (having returned from Sweden, the contrast couldn't be starker).

It was small and cute. But no ac so we were melting. Couldn't stay more than half an hour.

Gorgeous museum in Budapest entertaining for adults and children alike, with the highlights being the rock and dinosaur collection. Tip: Visit the botanical garden nearby!

this museum is superb!first of all-dust free and asthmatic approved.entertaining exhibitions put in very logical order for everyone to understand how nature works.

Worth every HUF we gave! Very Interesting exhibitis, the atmosphere was nice and the people working there were really kind. Also there are stamps you can collect in papers around the museums which are super cute!
