Very cool, nice place to spend 2-3 hours, 200yrs rail exhibit is interesting, visit while it's still open!

Great museum! Many trains can be entered! A Google translator will be needed if you don't speak Hungarian

It was fun. I was with a 6, 8 year old. It is a massive place with many trains and people can actually touch everything and climb up. There is a playground, train which carried the crown, omnibus, and we can even "drive" a train. Restaurant with lactose free/vegan food. And exhibition which was about 2 hours for the kids. I recommend it

The Railway Museum consists of two parts: an outdoor area and an indoor exhibition located in a building. The indoor exhibit spans three floors; the second and especially the third floor are interactive and very engaging, particularly for children. As for the outdoor section, it is spacious and features a variety of locomotives, ranging from steam to diesel engines. You can climb onto most of the locomotives and step inside the driver’s cabs. Since we visited during the week, we had the chance to ride the miniature railway that circles the entire museum grounds and take a turn on the locomotive turntable. Other attractions are typically reserved for weekends or special holidays. It looks like they are expanding a part of the museum, and judging by the construction, it seems like it will add a new, fun dimension to the experience. The museum has a small restaurant on-site, as well as a large playground on the grass for children. If you or your child love trains, you simply cannot miss this museum!

This is not first time visiting. But they are holding a temporary edutainment exhibition called Planet Budapest. It is about sustainability. Very educational very high quality exhibition presented. Recommend fully to everyone. It is even for Free! There are 2 tours that need registration beforehand with time slots. You can also try your luck I. The spot. The Hero interactive show is brilliant! The actors are so full with passion. I give them a big thumbs up! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
