Egy hely, amivel komolyan nem számoltam, mégis bíztam a létezésében. Egy régi adatbázisban fogtam szagot. Majd az utcaképet lestem, ahol mindig zárva volt. Ahogy minden más ivó igazoltan körülötte. A Wekerle-telepről ide senki nem jön át, mert a Nagykőrösi út élettér választó, és ezen oldala már a lesajnált Pesterzsébet. Egy laza hétfő este abszolút kívülállóként mi mégis rápróbáltunk, és milyen jól tettük, mert a Matróz nemcsak élt, de virult. Hatalmas chopper-roller volt a kocsma elé támasztva, eggyel beljebb a nádborítású kerthelyiségben a beszédes gazda és a környékbeli haverok, mindenki ismert mindenkit, így illett bemutatkoznunk, és mesélni a kocsmafelfedező hobbinkról, mi erre sodort. Szó szót követett, így kiderült, lényegében ez egy klubhelység. Alapja egy közös hobbi, a vitorlázás, így megannyi együtt töltött nyaralás és kaland, az Alpár Yacht Klub fényképes tablói erről a hiteles összefoglaló. A tükrös pultban csapon Soproni klasszikus, a vörös falú, lambériás vendégtérben tévé, darts, csocsó, légkondi, és a legjobb matrózok elismeréseként egy csomó serleg. És most már egy szóbeli elismerés tőlünk is, hogy itt mennyire törődnek egymással, és azért tartanak el egy kiskocs
