I had a terrible experience with this company. I was waiting for the train in Janoshaza and board didn't show train numbers, only their departure times, and the two trains had similar time of departure, and both were delayed. It's also very confusing on which rail to wait, since rails don't have numbers. There was no conductor at that time present. So a train arrived and the train didn't have any number on it and noone was there to ask. So i hopped on and it was the wrong train. By the time I realized it, it was already too late, because in these small villages trains don't wait long, maybe 1 minute. Train departed in the wrong direction. I hopped off the train at Gyor and went to complain to the station and the lady at the Gyor train station told me it's absolutely my mistake and that I cannot ask for any refund, nor train station will issue any additional free tickets, but that I should pay new tickets that at the time were 5x the original price, and that later I can ask for a refund, but it's not guaranteed. She even told me that if I reuse my old ticket I may get fined. It's really sad that a billion dollar corporation has such mess in their organization and missing labels ever

I don’t understand for what did you create the app, MAV and MAV + both, not useful. I recommend you to take inspiration from Ukrainian colleagues and their solution. Because actually you can not buy tickets, see your route, track and delay in the app. Nothing work in the orbanoland.

Had worst experience from the S10 train today Tuesday 9.dec.2025. From Kelenfold at 4:37 (am) to Győr. Due to my phone low internet connection I was trying to show my Hungarian pass ticket to the lady (inspector) she was the only one in the train as inspector. So I tried to log in the Budapest go app to show my pass and since the internet was down it couldn’t access and I tried to connect to the wifi and wasn’t able to access but I manage to show my pass expiration date which was still good but she refused to cooperate and asked me to leave and took my school bag and trew it on the floor out . I still insisted to wait just few minutes the internet access will restore and I will be able to show her . Totally refused and trew my bag again and she was so selfish . Miraculously today I wasn’t carrying my laptop with me otherwise it would have been broken by her trowing my bag . Please don’t let people with such behavior be allowed working in the train . She was doing her job but that was so unfair and wrong . I could have did something worse to her because of my bag . But I didn’t. Next time advise your team to be nice on people . At least try to understand their problems f

Purchased a wrong ticket at the vending machine in Nyugati station, went to the desk to get a refund. I was told it is not possible in the station (seriously?) and I should send an email to the customer service. It took them ONE MONTH to reply: 1. it's your fault 2. it's too late anyway. Shame on you for mocking visitors like this!!!

Among Szombathely and Budapest the trains have really really bad conditions (You are forced to smell the toilet's air, there is no air cooler or if there is, it does not work properly)... All train have a surprising, magic power to refuse all type of mobile network connections somehow, even the 2G as well... Come on.. it's 2019... Last but not least, the prices are horrible.. unbeliavble that the Budapest-London airplane ticket's prices are less or equal with this train prices... But i know.. we have to pay for the extra luxury, confortable and of course very very clean seats (Let me prove my last sentece with some pics.)
