Handy place. Efficient service. Only bought ibuprofen which cost the equivalent of £7, so easily 3 times more expensive than UK prices - but we needed it so had no option. Good opening hours though so it's useful for an emergency.

Those guys can’t even answer few questions in English. I believe that pharmacist are lack of professionalism and intelligence

Last December, while visiting Budapest, I found myself in a genuinely distressing situation late at night. I was struggling to breathe due to a severe cold, compounded by my COPD, and urgently needed Ventolin, which I had unfortunately not brought with me from Belgium. At around 23:00, I went to this pharmacy seeking help. I calmly explained my medical condition and the urgency of the situation. To facilitate matters, a Hungarian pharmacist friend of mine had even shared her professional credentials and offered to confirm the necessity of the medication directly, should there be concerns about the lack of a prescription. What followed was deeply disappointing. Instead of showing even basic empathy or a willingness to assist, the staff dismissed my request outright — not only refusing to provide the medication, but doing so in a condescending and dismissive manner. I was told my request was “ridiculous” and instructed to go and see a doctor at that hour. They also refused to speak with the licensed pharmacist I had on the phone who was prepared to vouch for me. As a 63-year-old individual in clear need of respiratory relief, this was not just unhelpful, it was frankly alarming. Havi

Usually the people there are kind and helpful , but this morning (Dec 31 2025) there was a only a girl I had not seen before, arrogant with eyes rolling when she did not understand me,even though I am Hungarian ....so I did not buy anything and walked out...a good 10,000ft saved. It is time for this country to introduce Civil behaviour towards the customer......mostly a problem in Pest
