Environment A very spacious, almost grandiose barber shop in the very heart of downtown Budapest. So much so, I find it somewhat inappropriate to call it “barber shop” — “barber hall” or “barber lounge” feels more appropriate. Perhaps such generous space allocation has something to do with this establishment being located in the Palace Quarter of the 8th District. Even though plenty of hair is being cut at this place the cleanliness of it was remarkable - even more so when compared to that of the barber shops in London, England. Equipment All the equipment I came across and Misu used were in absolutely mint condition, clean and well-maintained. Availability My own, personal hair grooming machine broke down whilst I was in Budapest and I was in a great need of clipping my hair and shaving my face so when - entirely randomly - I came across this barber shop i just popped in to enquire about booking an appointment. To my greatest surprise Misu was available right away and at no extra cost to me. Accessibility The venue itself is on the ground floor and appears to be spacious enough to accommodate those with physical disabilities, those who use physical aids or even those who avoid

I'm thinking of making a reservation here, but I have some concerns about transparency after reading a recent review and the owner's response. The policy does not explicitly state that a 100% fee applies in the event of a no-show or late arrival, but it does mention free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the appointment. As a client, I would anticipate that such a large cost would be explicitly stated before making a reservation rather than just hinted at or explained afterwards. Could the company specify when a reservation is deemed a "no-show" (e.g., how late is too late) and where the full charge policy is clearly displayed before an appointment is confirmed? If this was explained in a clear and open manner, I would feel much more at ease making a reservation. Also maybe giving a reminder call or message would be a great. Communication is the key

I didn’t like the haircut. I asked for layers and i got the layers as if i cut them myself by watching yt tutorials :3. Maybe the hair dresser has no experience with asian straight hair. Apart from me not happy with the haircut the studio was nice and clean. People were nice. I went there last year September.

⚠️ Transparency issue with booking policy I booked an appointment with Musmush Budapest through their online system. Unfortunately, I missed the appointment. Afterward, I received an email claiming that a 100% service fee must be paid for not cancelling within a certain time. However, no cancellation or no-show fee was disclosed AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, and their published booking policy only mentions that cancellation is free up to 48 hours before — it does not state any fee or penalty after that. The fee information was not clearly communicated in advance, and the key part was only mentioned later. I believe this is important for customers to know before booking, so they can make an informed decision. I recommend that the salon clearly and explicitly state any cancellation or no-show fees before confirming appointments, especially for international customers.
