Recently I spent 5 nights at the retreat centre in Normafa and it was an incredible experience. First of all the place is stunning, the design of the spaces, the yoga and meditation rooms, the wellness area, it just puts you at ease and in the right frame for an inner journey . The quality of the teaching also surpassed my expectations, I learned a lot about kundalini yoga and all teachers are attentive, personal and very knowledgeable. Finally every staff member has been kind and available, from the front desk to the restaurant staff. Having done other retreats in Europe, UK and in Asia including Japan, I think this is easily in the top 3 places I have ever been, and if you are looking to disconnect from the daily life and find some time to reflect, meditate and connect with your inner self, I would highly recommend to come here and spend a few days. There are so many activities to join both during the day and in the evening such as: yoga, meditation, chanting, gong and sound bath, wellness or simply go for a hike in the natural reserve next door which can satisfy any taste. We came to this hotel twice for their yoga day retreats. It’s like a piece of heaven away from the city and inside the wonderful nature of Normafa 😊 Their vegetarian lunch was amazing (one of the best we had for long time)!! The hotel ambiance is very peaceful. It’s mainly a kundalini yoga hotel but you can also try other type of yogas with great teachers who can speak both English & Hungarian. We will be happy to come back again.

A beautiful yoga retreat on the hill overlooking Budapest. The service was great, the food was great (though initially I thought I wouldn't like vegetarian dishes), the people are friendly and open. Yoga classes are challenging, but effective. Can't wait to visit again!

Well, I spend at this hotel weekend for yoga retreat, Kundalini yoga. It was really amazing experience. Thank you for the Hotel stuff for perfectly organized event and kitchen stuff for the beautiful dishes which we got through the day. And at the and of the day the sauna with the jacuzzi 👍🏼🙌 Just look at the photo, absolutely beautiful. The interior design is awesome 👏🏻 We will definitely come back here as often as we can, great place, great experience!

This is the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed at, I cannot recommend it enough!! The breakfast is perhaps the cherry on top. Our stay has been perfect in every department! The rooms are very clean, feel new and have a great design to them. If you have the pleasure of staying at this great hotel please treat yourself to breakfast, it’s fresh, delicious and was a highlight of our whole trip, especially the bacon, pastry and fruits! If I ever was to visit Budapest again this is my choice.
