A Case of Culinary Identity Crisis The Verdict: A disappointing, disorienting experience. If the previous review about the reheated corn dogs at another Okiko location was a warning, this visit to their sushi counter is a flat-out disaster. They should stick to what they know—or better yet, start learning how to actually cook. The Critique: The table setting itself was a red flag, with an ashtray as a centerpiece. The food did little to redeem the atmosphere. The rolls were not served; they were drowned. Submerged in a cloying, syrupy overabundance of what I can only assume was supposed to be unagi sauce, any hope of tasting the delicate balance of rice and filling was lost. Speaking of the filling, the tempura shrimp were a texturally catastrophic failure. The once-promised crunch was replaced by a soggy, bready limpness. It was the same dispiriting, reheated profile I encountered previously. It wasn't "street food"; it was just lazy food. The use of low-grade surimi paste instead of any meaningful seafood further underscored the complete lack of culinary ambition. Conclusion: This is a kitchen in freefall. They are hiding a lack of technique and quality behind excessive sauces a

When I came to the restaurant there were 2 other tables. I ordered a large lemonade and one sushi roll. After a 30 minute wait (and seeing 2 women next to me get their large order even though they sat down after me) I went to ask the waitress what's going on, she said they were busy and it'll take 10 more minutes (it took 20). The lemonade was sparkling water with too much slices of orange, making it taste like watered down orange juice and nothing else, definitely not resembling lemonade. The roll was good, but nothing justifies that slow service (and terrible "lemonade"). Was not told when I entered they were busy and sushi can take up to an hour to make. Definitely won't be coming back.

Really good food, the staff was so nice, we loved every moment of it. It’s a cozy restaurant and we liked the atmosphere. We took an all you can eat option for 10.000 huf and you can eat anything for 3 hours. Water and tea are also included in the price. Would definitely recommend!
