A lovely place to enjoy traditional Hungarian food in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. The goulash was rich, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for, and the service was friendly and attentive. We also appreciated that the restaurant felt local rather than overly touristy. A very enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit if you want to try classic Hungarian cuisine in Budapest.

The gentleman running the place greeted us earlier in the day while reviewing his menu outside. We came back for dinner and honestly, had the best food we have had since being here. The food here being so much cleaner than that at home in the US helps. We never felt like a bother while dining here like some servers at a few places we have tried were. Over all great service, great food, and a welcoming gentleman. English is not his strong suit, but the communication is still too tier!

The food was excellent, local and authentic. The customer service was extremely welcoming. The waiters were very helpful in helping us choose dishes and recommending things to do in Budapest. We came back here three times during our stay. Much recommended !!!

A hidden gem in central Budapest (Pest). Right in front of the ibis. The food is really flavorful and the staff is lovely. Highlight of the lunch was the sausage wrapped in cabbage and topped with some sort of sauerkraut, a specialty of the house. Highly recommended for a hearty and tasty meal.
