Látványos árkádsorral bíró református templom. 1940-re épült fel, és nem sokkal megépülte után Bereczky Albert lelkipásztor többszáz embert bújtatott itt a vészkorszakban megmentve az életüket, ezért is áll a templom előtt az Embermentők emlékműve.

Pozsonyi úti református templom, XIII. kerület, Újlipótváros. Egy érdekes, modern kivitelezésű templom, 1940-ben szentelték fel. A templom alatt egy a templommal megegyező területű altemplomban színpad és rendezvény terem található, melyet ma különböző rendezvényekhez kiadnak.

Az épületet Tóth Imre és Halászy Jenő építészmérnökök tervezték. A kivitelező Wanner Henrik volt. Az alapkőletételt 1937. április 25-én történt. 1940 adventjének második vasárnapján nyíltak meg a templom kapui. A templom alatt egy a templommal megegyező területű altemplomban színpad és rendezvényterem található, melyet ma különböző rendezvényekhez kiadnak.

Az Erkel Ferenc Vegyeskar előadásán voltam először ebben a templomban. A koncert remek volt. Az épület belülről jól mutat a maga egyszerűségében. A kereszt alakban felsorakozó mennyezeti lámpák külön is felkeltették a figyelmemet. Bereczky Albert a helyi közösség lelkésze megszervezte a templom felépítését, és a Vészkorszakban több zsidó családot bújtatott a templom mellék épületében megmentve életüket, saját életét kockáztatva. Lefényképeztem ide emléktábláját.
