We had a fantastic experience renting eight bikes for our family trip from Vienna to Budapest. The bikes were in great shape, and the rented panniers and child attachment for our youngest were super convenient. They delivered the bikes to us in Vienna, handled all our luggage transfers, and let us drop the bikes off at their shop in Budapest. Best of all, when one stage proved too long for the kids, they kindly picked up our bikes mid-route and drove them to our next hotel so we could take the train. Incredible, thoughtful service from start to finish—highly recommended!

Absolutely the nicest people on earth!!!! They were so nice and welcoming customer service was amazing. Would definitely recommend this to say it’s the best bike rent shop in Budapest

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I spent quite a bit of time researching different bike rental companies for a multi-day cycling trip between Vienna and Budapest. Many companies either didn’t respond, only offered guided tours, or made the process feel much more complicated than it needed to be. I came across Zed Bikes, read the reviews, and decided to reach out. Every positive review mentioning Zoltan was absolutely accurate. He was incredibly responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. We rented bikes for a 5-day ride from Vienna to Budapest, and everything was perfect. The bikes were reliable, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for the trip. We had zero issues along the way, which allowed us to simply enjoy the experience and focus on the adventure. If you’re planning a cycling trip in Hungary or along the Danube route, I highly recommend Zed Bikes. Excellent communication, excellent equipment, and genuinely outstanding customer service. Amazing! I highly recommend renting a bike from here if you are visiting Budapest! I have been solo traveling Europe for almost a month and this bike rental expirence was definitely a high point. The service was above and beyond. Not only was I given free luggage storage and everything I needed for my bike trip but the gentleman that helped me had a contagious smile! I took the bike up to Visegrad and back over two days. The bike was super comfortable to ride and handled the long ride very well! If you are traveling to Hungary I cannot recommend taking advantage of the bike trails! It's the perfect way to escape the city and really see the country. The Danube bend is waiting for you!!!

Pretty good experience. I rented a city e-bike and was going to ding it on comfort but I am comparing to my very nice bike at home and that is unfair. Easy to rent, nice ladies at the business. Did about 30k to include going up to all the way up to Normafa trail head. Still had 50% battery but I was mostly in eco mode.
