Matyí is very helpful and knowledgeable about guitars - makes sense, since this specialized family business is on-going since he was little; even has a large workshop in the back (which he proudly showed me). Left with a nice guitar amp in hand.

I went in just to buy a small accessory, and I ended up having one of the nicest experiences I’ve had in a music store. The owner’s son was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the first moment. There was zero pressure to buy anything, instead, he gave honest, real advice and took his time explaining things. Even though I’m a beginner and didn’t end up buying anything, he showed me several guitars just because I was curious and interested. He treated me with real respect, not like someone who “doesn’t know enough.” He even offered to help me with humidifying my guitar when I’m away from Budapest, which honestly says everything about the kind of people they are. This is clearly a store driven by passion, knowledge, and class, not just sales. If you’re a beginner, you’ll feel safe here, you’ll get the best advice, and you’ll walk away more confident, whether you buy a guitar or not. One of the most genuine classical guitar stores to visit in Budapest. Highly recommended

Wonderful place. The owner was very friendly and knew English well enough to help with my questions. Nice selection of guitars and accessories. Small but interesting collection of sheet music.

Easily the best guitar shop in Budapest. If you happen to come on the weekend you'll meet the owner, Maestro Peter Tornai, an excellent classical guitarist. His son spoke perfect english and was quite helpful and understanding. If you're a classical guitarist, this is the spot.
