SHANTEE HOUSE

Oasis in desert for an Indian! Not like others weren't warm, but this one felt like a home after travelling for a week away from home. So warm and friendly staff, beautiful hostel at affordable price. Would like to come back again during my future visit if it happens. 😊 Keep up the good work.

Visited this hostel last summer and it came to mind just now and I realised I ought to leave a review. Such a peaceful and affordable place to stay whilst in Budapest. Great atmosphere, with lots of other young people stopping in on their interrail travels.

The place reminds me of my youth, when I used to travel around the world as a backpacker on a shoestring. This place is also like those where a traveler can find a real refuge. Everything is clean and practical. The staff and the people are kind. Everything is about trust and peaceful coexistence. Here, even if you travel alone, you definitely won't feel lonely but always respected.

I had a great stay at Shantee House. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city very convenient. The host was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit, ensuring everything went smoothly. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay.
