I’m not usually one to rate textile stores but this one is special. The shop owner knows the ins and outs of every single piece and it is a pleasure to hear her share that knowledge. One gets the impression that this is a one of a kind place and browsing the wares is truly a privilege.

You must go!! I did a simple search on Google maps seeking out authentic Hungarian embroidery. This store had rave reviews. The shop owner was such a lovely lady and very kind. She was very helpful as I worked to pick out items to buy. I learned that the embroidery comes from a village in southern Hungary. I also learned that it is becoming a dying industry. I hope something shifts because we need beautiful artwork and crafts in this world. Take the time and visit this shop and take home a special piece.

This shop is owned by a lovely lady, which really shelters Hungarian heritage. If you are looking for real, authentic textiles, clothing, and more - look nowhere further. Expect very high quality, this is far from a tourist place. And not even mentioning the exceptional customer service.

If you’re looking for handmade pillow covers, napkins, table tops, etc. then look no further! This is the place to shop for in Budapest. All handmade! None of that factory stuff shipped from China. The owner is also so nice and informative about all the products at her store. Come by this place if you’re in Budapest.
