We ended up visiting two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much the first time. We only had food and drinks and did not visit the theatre area. Great food, good value and a lovely environment. The pianist is also a nice touch. Tomi the waiter made it extra special with his top service!

Wanted to try a Jewish food so went in this place. The service is fantastic and the food is surprisingly good. Fall in love with Jewish cuisine now.

A most interesting place to visit is a combination of a restaurant and a small theater in the heart of Budapest's former Jewish quarter very close to huge Dohany street synagogue. The restaurant offers a wide selection of drinks including hard and soft ones. The food is primarily traditional Jewish meal among other dishes cholent that is said to be kosher. The food is tasty. The service is attentive. The live piano music helps to enjoy the pleasant ambience. The popular small theatre is for maximum 60 people, with performances mostly in Hungarian. I attended a series of scientific lectures by Gyorgy Gabor presenting the religious history from Moses to Jesus i. e from Judaism to Christianity.

I went here because of I had read about it in a guide. The place was nice, at the entrance there was a man who played a untuned piano. Waiters were very helpful and kind. Soups were vey tasty, but the gulash was the worst I have ever eaten. The prices were very high.
