Karoly has a special talent for creating magical, colorful and precious jewelry, each one a piece of art. I asked several times for personalized items, and I got them fast and precise. I have been always happy with what I got to wear, made by him. You can see the joy he has in making them on the result, and he is also a very kind, cheerful person, from who is delight to have your jewelry created. Its just fun to have some Szasz Karoly ceramics or glass on you. Here I am listening to what my eosins are whispering to each other.

I had an incredible experience & can’t say enough good things about Szász Károly Art of Antique Jewelry! I first visited his shop 8 years ago visiting from Chicago and completely fell in love with his work. I still wear the pieces I bought back then and always get compliments — people are so curious when they hear the story behind the jewelry. This time, I did one of his workshops where we made our own pieces from reclaimed glass from famous Hungarian landmarks and porcelain fragments from Herend and Zsolnay. It was such a fun and meaningful experience — I love that the jewelry carries so much history and Hungarian tradition. Károly is so talented and welcoming, and the whole workshop was really inspiring. I left with a beautiful, handmade piece that I’ll treasure. Highly recommend checking out his shop or workshop if you’re in Budapest!

The workshop was very fun! We made really beautiful necklaces and earrings out of repurposed and beautiful ceramics. The owner is really knowledgeable and is clearly passionate about his work!

Each piece is an individual heirloom that is made with materials that tell a story and bring the past to life as a modern masterpiece. His work tells a story and captures moments in history. His passion is evident. One of a kind quality, utmost value. Could not be more pleasant to work with Károly.

Great little shop that's definitely worth a visit. Owner was very kind and showed me all the items (had trouble deciding between the beautiful jewellery). It's very unique pieces with a great history behind them.
