Best goulash and Hungarian food. Tomato salad is a must try as well as the goulash. Very friendly atmosphere and acceptable service.

Highly recommended! A perfect birthday find. I spent a long time looking for the best place to enjoy halászlé (Hungarian fish soup) for my birthday, carefully reading reviews and checking photos. I finally chose this restaurant, and oh my god, I am so glad I did! We had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect: the interior, the menu selection, the flavors (the halászlé was outstanding!), the prices, and the service. To the management and staff—thank you so much for what you do! I am absolutely delighted. I’ve already started recommending this place to all my friends, and I will definitely be back many more times. :)

We had a lovely lunch in the garden of Határcsárda. The menu is extensive with a long list of meat and fish dishes. Vegetarian dishes are sadly limited to the usual suspects of cheese or mushrooms fried in bread crumbs... Service was friendly and swift. All the dishes we tried were excellent, portions were large and all at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The coffee was very tasty. The food was acceptable but not the best I've ever ate. The view from our table was nice. Note that tou should reserve a table before getting there, otherwise you might have to wait. We were lucky in our case as there was a free table, but during the time we were there it happened to several people that they had to wait 10-15 minutes until a table freed up.

Great Hungarian food slightly off service but nevertheless I recommend to visit if you are in the vicinity! The food is authentic and delicious nothing bad can be said about it. The lost star is for the "rule" of they are not accepting booking but when we went there they said the first opening tables will go for 5 booked table... when we dared to ask about it, we got a bit of a look of mind your business and their rule is you can book from 4pm... not worth arguing about it and the rest of the experience was great. The restaurant and toilet is easily accessible; although I think there is one step into the building but possibly doable by wheelchair and help. There is a great size of terrace looking to the River Danube, some tables cannot avoid direct sun so summer time it can be uncomfortable but the majority of the seats are in shades under the roof in open space. I look forward to try some more dishes when around.
