ALEXA What a woman! Amazing service, had a bit of an issue with one meal but she sorted it straight out! Was a delight all night, took her time to make conversation with all of us and of course can’t forget the 49’ers✌🏽 What a soldier of a woman, she marched through her shift last night & still took her time to look after us after a busy day / night! We cannot thank Alexa enough for her service, humour & vibes she gave us all night. Started speaking on first name basis, she remembered what we were all drinking, just an absolute delight to be around all in all. Enjoy your holiday, have the best time!

Anna took care of us; the kitchen was closing when we arrived, but she went out of her way to ensure we could taste Hungarian cuisine. The atmosphere was excellent, and Anna, in particular, was very attentive and friendly. I recommend it.

We had a great experience at Pointer Pub while watching the UCL Final. We made a reservation and were seated right away, even with how busy it was. The service was quick and attentive throughout the match, and the food was both delicious and filling. There were plenty of TVs, so it was easy to get a great view of the game from anywhere in the pub. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to catch a match in Budapest!

This place is a tourist trap! They charge almost double the normal price for wine, and the pricing is extremely misleading. In the attached photo you can clearly see that the same wine is available online for around 3,190–3,490 HUF, while the restaurant charged us 6,760 HUF. What makes this even worse is that the drink menu shows the wine price as 1,690 HUF / 1 dl, but on the bill they charged us for 4 dl / a bottle-style amount, without clearly stating this on the menu. Basically, they show the price for 1 dl, but then charge several times that amount in a way that is not transparent. For tourists or people who do not know local wine prices, this feels like a clear rip-off. Prices should be displayed honestly and clearly, especially when wine is sold by decilitres or by bottle. Be very careful here and always ask for the full price before ordering wine.
