We visited for breakfast as a group of three adults and two children. Despite it being fairly busy, we were seated inside quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the food was fresh, tasty, and good quality. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Törökméz if you’re looking for a nice breakfast in a quieter part of Budapest. Just be aware that it isn’t cheap—we spent a little over €100 for breakfast. That said, the quality was there, and we’d happily return. One tip: it gets busy quickly. We walked past it several times during our stay and it always seemed to fill up fast.

Amazing brunch, one of the best in the neighborhood. The only downside is that the service is pretty slow, we waited 30-40 minutes for an avocado toast (that's not counting the 20 minutes we waited for a table). However it was worth it since the avocado toast with goat cheese is next level, one of the best we've ever tried. The staff is also friendly and helpful, I'm not sure why they are so slow lol.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience here! We were a group of three, and even though the restaurant was almost full, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which made us feel very comfortable. The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant, and has a lovely atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, the dishes were full of unique and delicious flavors. They also offer great coffee and fresh juices alongside with classic breakfast options. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting!

can there be such a thing as 'too good' ... ? turns out there is: and törökméz hits that spot almost effortlessly good coffee (cortado a tad too milky) great food great juice & lemomade and yet: törökméz was a cozy intimate spot at its pervious location. here it is part of the anglosaxon & hipster 'cultures' which could be anywhere in the world - especially nyc. faceless, overfriendly, in all too perfect english: how well can one be before first morning coffee? plus the festering service charge - again introduced by anglosaxon marons into real cultures where service appreciation is optional for good reasons: not to create faceless, emotionless copycats. so for all you wonderfull ai loving hipsters: come here in droves, this is exactly your type of place.

I was a regular at Törökméz for 10 years when it was still on the Buda side, so I’m really happy to see them in their new location. It’s much more convenient to reach now, even by car. The service was excellent as always. Today I had a cheese sandwich with a café latte, both were fantastic. The new space is noticeably larger, with a more comfortable and welcoming shop floor. They also seem to offer a wider selection than before, which makes the experience even better. Keep up the high standards, and best of luck in your new home!
